Grommit carved a pretty good likeness of Wallace this year. That Pumpkin Sun is amazing too.

Who is his evil cousin? I haven't carved a pumpkin in a long time. Maybe this year.

I love the blingy (not stringy) pumpkins.

The world needs a Halloween miracle this year.

🎃😱 I love the pumpkin tent, but it is appropriate that the meme comes from "Horror Junkie." The nursery rhyme evoked by the tent ("Peter, Peter") is not only misogynistic but started as a scary, and possibly murderous, adult tale.
“Peter, Peter, pumpkin eater,
Had a wife but couldn’t keep her;*
He put her in a pumpkin shell**
And there he kept her very well."

*couldn't keep his cheating, maybe sex-working, wife at home
**some versions say the shell is a chastity belt. Others claim the shell was a wall of Peter's house where he entombed his wife and hoped the mice would eat off her.🐀

Lovely nursery rhyme. Sleep well, children! 😳🫣🤣

@ Cleora Borealis -- Yikes! I never heard that backstory to this nursery rhyme before!

I gotta agree with the Savage Chickens, and cats will sleep anywhere, won't they?

The knife stuck in the pumpkin could be a good way to scare off burglars. Love the kitty. Love you.

Dear Debra, I enjoyed seeing all of these pumpkins! The cat is so cute and comfortable! The Nasa one is amazing! The rest made me smile or laugh...but every single one I thoroughly enjoyed! Thanks, dear friend.
