It's Canadian Thanksgiving today, so here's some free advice to turkeys from Mark Anderson of Andertoons about how to avoid The Big Chop!
There are several techniques you can try, such as --
1. Blackmail:
2. Bribery:
3. Playing on social insecurities:
4. Hightailing it out of town:
5. Lawyering up:
6. But if all else fails, Tom, take the bastards with ya:

HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Indulgent Thanksgiving. And thank you for sharing these.
Poor turkeys! Hope you're not eating any, missy!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Lol. A lot of turkeys will be on the table today I fear!
Have a happy Thanksgiving Debra. If you eat a turkey then don't forget to give thanks for the sacrifice the bird made.
These are great. Happy Thanksgiving!
Funny! What a great way to celebrate Turkey Day! Happy Thanksgiving! :o)
Happy Turkey Day!
Poor Turkey - it almost makes me want to opt for lentil loaf this year.
Happy Thanksgiving.
I hope the turkeys make it. I'm always on the side of the turkeys.
Mmmmm... turkey.
Happy Thanksgiving!! Oh my, I was just thinking of all the food at my family's Thanksgiving feasts. So much turkey and goodies that there are leftovers and turkey sandwiches for a whole week.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving! I love the turkey cartoons. I wish we had Thanksgiving in October. It's silly to put it off until November so that people in the U.S. feel rushed constantly between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Love,
Janie
happy thankgiving day! have lasagna or salmon instead! or even pho!
Happy and delicious Thanksgiving, Debra!
Enjoy your Thanksgiving! I don't know why eating chicken doesn't give me pause but turkey preparation does. Maybe it's because turkeys are bald. I like my birds bald.
Happy Thanksgiving! I must have gotten the vibe because we are having Thanksgiving "Lite" tonight: turkey thighs, stuffing, gravy and mashed potatoes and asparagus.
After these cartoons maybe I'll just get some burger meat and shape it into a turkey. Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving! I don’t know that I will feel all that good about eating turkey now.
Haha! Happy Thanksgiving!!!
I would not be surprised if Trump did not pardon the turkeys this year - for publicity - like every thing else he does.
the Ol'Buzzard
I hope you had a glorious holiday, dearest Debra.
To the Turkey: I hope you got away!
Happy Thanksgiving, hope you enjoyed!
An American I worked with a while back told me Canadians copied Thanksgiving and they didn't even have turkeys "up there."
Happy thanksgiving Debra.
Happy belated Thanksgiving! The last one is my favorite.
Funny stuff, and I like Anderson's simple style.
Hi Debra :) Funny turkeys! :) Mine didn't have any wise quacks last night ;)
Happy belated Thanksgiving! :)
Okay I will totally forgive you for that detested modifier before Thanksgiving - in my books it is simply Thanksgiving because that's what we celebrate in Canada! However in the true spirit of being thankful I want to thank you for those hysterical vignettes and I am so posting a link to this.
Happy THANKSGIVING and hugs from PEI.
Happy belated Thanksgiving..Have to feel sorry for Tom..Great cartoons..Funny!!

Such a more sensible time of year to have a harvest festival, isn't it?
I like the blackmailing turkey! I'm laughing out loud. :) I hope you had a happy thanksgiving.
