Listen Up, Tom!

It's Canadian Thanksgiving today, so here's some free advice to turkeys from Mark Anderson of Andertoons about how to avoid The Big Chop!

There are several techniques you can try, such as --

1. Blackmail:

2. Bribery:

3. Playing on social insecurities:

4. Hightailing it out of town:

5. Lawyering up:

6. But if all else fails, Tom, take the bastards with ya:

Have a happy Thanksgiving Debra. If you eat a turkey then don't forget to give thanks for the sacrifice the bird made.

I hope the turkeys make it. I'm always on the side of the turkeys.

Happy Thanksgiving!! Oh my, I was just thinking of all the food at my family's Thanksgiving feasts. So much turkey and goodies that there are leftovers and turkey sandwiches for a whole week.

Happy Thanksgiving! I love the turkey cartoons. I wish we had Thanksgiving in October. It's silly to put it off until November so that people in the U.S. feel rushed constantly between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Love,
Janie

Enjoy your Thanksgiving! I don't know why eating chicken doesn't give me pause but turkey preparation does. Maybe it's because turkeys are bald. I like my birds bald.

Happy Thanksgiving! I must have gotten the vibe because we are having Thanksgiving "Lite" tonight: turkey thighs, stuffing, gravy and mashed potatoes and asparagus.

After these cartoons maybe I'll just get some burger meat and shape it into a turkey. Happy Thanksgiving!

I would not be surprised if Trump did not pardon the turkeys this year - for publicity - like every thing else he does.

An American I worked with a while back told me Canadians copied Thanksgiving and they didn't even have turkeys "up there."

Okay I will totally forgive you for that detested modifier before Thanksgiving - in my books it is simply Thanksgiving because that's what we celebrate in Canada! However in the true spirit of being thankful I want to thank you for those hysterical vignettes and I am so posting a link to this.

Happy THANKSGIVING and hugs from PEI.

I didn't realize Canadian Thanksgiving was a turkey meal also. I have to admit Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. Lots of food and family. Great combo - for a day.
