Saviours and Superheroes

A couple of weeks ago, bloggin' buddy Bill Lisleman of a few clowns short left this message in my comments section --

"Strange idea just popped in my head - all these movies of superhero groups. They should do one with spiritual leaders coming together to save our spirits."

Thanks, Bill! I was wondering in what context I could ever possibly post the following kinda-sorta-related memes from my "Big Bottomless Stash o' Weird Crap from the Internet" and you just handed me the perfect opportunity. Behold the intersection of saviours and superheroes!

MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU!

Somewhere, Jesus is sitting back and thinking, "That's great that these folks jotted down some of my words, but... couldn't one darn person have drawn a picture of me when I was there? This guy doesn't look a thing like me!"

South Park did that with Super Best Friends, they even had Muhmamed before extremists started to wish violence towards artists

My inner Catholic child is screeching like it does on every Sunday when I post an antichristian meme. "THAT'S SOOOOO BLASPHEMOUS," it screams!

We got a Laugh from that last image, dear Lady Debra... thanks for the (much needed) Smile...

I liked that first one. Stan Lee has said that he came up with Thor because he was trying to top his last few superheroes, and thought, well, a god should do it.

Hee hee...love this one Debra! :)

Gods come in many forms. I am glad to see that Obi Wan is now among them.

I like the idea of a Holy Trinity: Obi, Yoda, Darth. Works much better for me than what we've got going.
Merry Kinobimas to you!

I think it's been done. If I remember correctly an episode of South Park had Jesus, Buddha, and Mohammed forming some sort of Justice League and kicking ass.

OH my fishes and loaves! This is wonderful. Finding out a comment/thought of mine inspired anything is great.
Would it be going TOO far to add a "healing" button on my blog sidebar??

These memes I have seen on so many atheists pages I follow. While I find them funny, I will never, ever consider Ewan McGregor Obi Wan Kenobi.
