You see, grandmas are the best!
Gay and proud to be myself. Ally of all those different from me (except haters). And you are an inspiration!
Support and respect are so important!
we still have a long way to go but my god it's better than it used to be.
That 88-year-o;d Grandma nailed it!
Yes, to be ourselves with respect, what a concept.
These are great! The grandmas sure do seem to have it together!
Family support is very important.
Respect costs you nothing. Such a great comeback!
Most of these got to me.
Hello Debra, There is always a trade-off. Young people can now love anyone they want from the get-go, but they can't iron!--Jim
Beautiful post Debra ♥♥♥
Grandmas rule! I love the one about the grandma ironing the flag, and the same goes for the feisty grandma who tells the dad what's what.
Way to go, Grandmas!! I support ~
Support is so important in everything...and..for me there has never been love without respect..Have a happy weekend..
Yes, better now than when people had to hide or kill themselves
Love, friendship and supportive allies makes life worthwhile and a whole lotta fun!
It's sad, but there are still too many people that can't accept people that are different from them.
Support more than once a year! Proud longtime ally here.
Grandma's certainly have been around long enough to know how life is.
These are all great. It heartens me to find some people who were once adamantly anti-gay instead learning to accept and love.Love,Janie
I don't know why, but this post reminds me of a conversation I had decades ago when I was working as a dishwasher in a posh restaurant. We were discussing love life, sex life and so on and in the restaurant business then (still now perhaps) people were pretty open about their sexual orientations. One of the senior waiters told us that in his family, they were four children and it went 50% hetero, 50% homosexual. I don't know to this day if he was the former or the latter.
Minovsky's 88-year-old grandma nails it.
Beautiful sentiments! I know people in my age group who have changed their views since our childhood and are now allies! It is very heartwarming. We must support each other, but it is essential for those who need it most.
Big Hugs Deb!!!
I give zero respect for bigotry. Allies are very important
i don't respect those who disrespect others on the basis of their ignorance only i think we should respect all without putting conditions and this is the only way to have genuine respect for ourselves i liked it !
