Yes, it is once again moi --

I LOVE Halloween!

I'm not one of those SCAREDY CATS

who SHUN the holiday --

No, I EMBRACE it 

WHOLEHEARTEDLY!

Well, except for some of those 

DEMEANING COSTUMES.

As a DECEASED kitty myself 

who is busy HAUNTING my human, 

I particularly like GHOST IMAGERY 

at this SPOOKY time of year --

Finally, here's a SPECIAL SHOUT-OUT 

to my old pal, HENRI LE CHAT NOIR 

(everyone's favourite depressed philosopher cat) -- 

LIGHTEN UP, BUDDY! 

Would it KILL you to have 

some FUN once in a while? 

SHEESH!

 

Stay Away, Grim Reaper

Well, that's an enlightened view 

of the Grim Reaper, isn't it? 

But in truth, we are very afraid of him. 

Because he's coming for all of us, 

even though we don't want to think about it.

The Grim Reaper is often, 

for good reason, 

associated with War.

We try to deny our deep fears 

by making jokes and poking fun 

at the Grim Reaper.

But we've seen altogether too much 

of him in the last couple of years.

So let's all cheat 

the Grim Reaper 

a little longer!

Corvids Are Cool

What would Halloween be 

without crows and ravens?

And of course, we all know who 

is the most famous raven!

Corvids enhance our lives

in so many ways!

We have lots of crows

here in Alberta!
