The Robert Patterson one had me cracking up! I wouldn't be nice to be able to explode into a bunch of bats to leave the situation?

There are times when becoming a thousand bats would be handy.

The only thing I could like about bats would be if I could explode into them.

LOL - Bats are the one thing that freak me out. Years and years ago we had a little cottage on the water. I walked into the living area one morning with a nightgown on and a bat flew out from under an end table and up under my short nightgown. OMG-I thought I was gonna die of a heart attack. How I did not get bitten is still a mystery. My cat about went crazy. lol. xo Diana

Demetri turning into a cat was too cute but, like Bob, I could have gone my whole life content with not seeing bat butt cheeks.

I go back and forth trying to decide on hanging a bat house (easier) or building a chimney swift house. I should have my mind made up by... no I won't.

We can never have enough bats for Halloween. On a side note, my father stuck loads of bats on the portico (not sure of the term in English) to spook trick or treaters. It looks gorgeous. I onlyhave two or three.

Oh and fun fact: Carmilla turned into a big cat.

I knew I could count on you for some fantastic Halloween stuff! The smiling bat face made my day! At dusk and dawn, I often see bats flying around our backyard!

I love bats! I like the Spanish name, Murcielago. We have, or had, 18 different species where i live. Some of them are rare and seldom seen. We used to see more bats around here.

If you see a bat on the ground in distress, don't touch it. If it must be moved, use a towel or something. We dont have those big fruit bats around here. Our bats are small.

How they got mixed up with all these memes is beyond me. Respect your local Bats!

The cat and the bat comic got me thinking about the time a bat somehow got in my house. When a bat's wings are folded in, it looks like a mouse or a gerbil or any other kind of small rodent. It also looks like prey to a cat, and, sure enough, my cat managed to corner the bat, who couldn't seem to unfold his wings fast enough. Though bats can be very scary looking when flying about, in this instance I felt kind of sorry for the creature (also, it had been a while since my cat gotten a rabies shot, so I didn't want him to get too close.) I got a bottle of Windex, shooed the cat away, and the sprayed the bat, momentarily disorienting it. With a broom I managed to knock the bat into an old cooler, closed it, ran outside, and let it loose in the woods outside my house. It flew off into the night. My cat was so angry he wouldn't meow at me for days. Incidentally, my cat was black, so the whole sorry chain of events had a definite Halloween feel to it.

One time the cat brought one into the workroom. The doors were open, here she comes with a bat in her mouth, all proud of herself. The little bat was screaming. Keeters No!!!

I took it out of her mouth and threw it back out the doors. I wasn't thinking. We are taught not to touch them. Immediately washed my hands. I couldn't tell if it bit me, there was no blood.

The next day i called my neighbor, who is a wildlife biologist. He said i need to go get the rabies shots. So i did. They are not a big deal, but they come in a series.

I wasn't worried about the cat, she was "legal" and vaccinated. Yes, she was pissed off at me.

The Phillies could use a vampire or two to help them out right now.

Late, I know. Who knew Bats had butt checks? LOL. If I had that figure I might wear that Bat dress all the time. But my favorite is the Bat castle. I would truly do this if I had a yard.
