Thanks for this post, Debra! It certainly has a lot in it to think about. If I have learned anything about trans people it's that they don't go through such a procedure without a very, very strong motivation. Terry really likes this reality tv show called "90 Day Fiancé the Other Way." An American has a fiancé in another country and goes there. He/she has to marry the fiancé within 90 days or return to the USA. I got sucked into watching it with Terry while we were in Hawaii. One of the Americans was a trans guy (changed from female to male). He fell in love with a Columbian woman and they decided to get married. When they told her religious parents that her fiancé was a trans man, their reaction was unbelievable. They were so loving, supportive, and accepting that it brought tears to my eyes. If more people in this world could be like those parents it would be a much better place. Throughout the show and during the 3-hour wrap-up at the end, I learned so much. The trans husband (they did get married) shared a lot about what he went through, both mentally and physically. I am extremely upset over what is happening in the USA, as I've said before. I cannot wait to vote and to help get the vote out.

Can't they find something else to do? Go mind your own fuckingbizness, is my advice to these fools. My other advice is- you mess with one bean, you mess with the whole burrito. So you can't scare us with this this stupid trans panic.
last weekend my 11 year old great granddaughter Olivia explained to me what Trigender means..79 and I got taught by an 11 year old...and boy ain't I proud.
"You cannot agree to disagree with someone's existence" Oooooh, I LIKE that one! I'll have to use it. And I also really like the one from Ari Drennen with her common sense about why we're seeing higher rates of trans people. Same logic as with left-handed people. My mom's youngest sister was left-handed and she was punished out of it. Fast forward years later to my younger daughter who is also left-handed and who was encouraged and celebrated for it. Had she been born around my mom's time, she may have met with my aunt's fate. Same goes with trans folks. The safer people feel, the more they'll be their authentic selves. And the higher the rates will be. Why is that so hard to understand?
I really love the first one and I think the left-handed one also makes great sense. Gay treatment will be looked back on like putting Indigenous children in schools to teach them what is "right."
