It is good to see that once again, you have evaded the assassins, despite their best efforts, we continue to thrive. AKA, We woke up not dead again today.

I sure hope that Texan is in his garage or I can see why he has such a high bill with no insulation. But he is oh so right. Thanks for the mornin' giggles.

🤣 Jerry Wayne's video is brilliant, but one little part has me feeling sad. He mentions not being able to "show his face at the H.E.B." Last week, the lovely Leanna [on her blog "Can We Have A New Witch, Ours Melted"] mentioned how she likes her H.E.B. in central/east Texas. I'm in El Paso...I ain't got H.E.B.! Am I missing out? I did my research. I know it's a problem of distribution centers, but I feel so alone!! 🤪😉😁

My curse has not been lifted. He's going to be around another 3 1/2 years.

Love these all! I should take up this style of texting - honestly, my friends wouldn't bat an eye.
Wonderful video. He has a gift for Southern Gothic!

An homage to Faulkner by a comedian is fascinating.

Love these! Oh how I wish that Southern gentleman could have read The Sound and the Fury to me the first time. Unpopular opinion: I'm not a fan of Faulkner.

'dearest friend...' I'm going to use that!
I love the Texan's description of succumbing to cool air and of course the $$$$.

Faulkner often used hifalutin language when describing the doings of simple country people, so that video is not too far off target.

Any style of English that doesn't include "like", "um" or an f-bomb as every second word is what I yearn to hear in 2025! And Jerry Wayne Longmire's comedy is delightfully funny!
