I remember a hike in the woods one morning, where we sat for a rest under a Ponderosa pine. As we were quietly chatting a huge owl spread its wings and dropped silently from a branch above us, swooping down the meadow and into a further copse of trees. We hadn't seen it before we sat down! I suspect that it had Irritable Owl Syndrome at being disturbed by us...
So great that Greece still uses the same design for their coin. I have to see if I can get that decaf Yorkshire tea here. Thanks for that. I specially love the last photo, laughing at his/her own silly joke?!
Irritable owl lol We have quite a few owls in the area. Once while at night time tennis I was just about to serve when a giant, silent owl flew straight past me. I almost his it with the racket!

I recently got a course catalog for our community college. They have a course on how to spot owls.
