Tattoo Time!

Bisexual cross-stitchers rock!

Stars? Rainbows?
What more do you want?

Oh, thought I couldn't work
superheroes into this post?

Well, think again!

How about Wonder Woman inked
in classic old-timey tattoo style?

That Wonder Woman is stunning!!!! And would you believe that I actually had a friend with a tattoo whose doctor said something to the same affect as that comic above??? He was pissed and never went back.

Hahahahaha
The kitty's side-eye is soooo good!
And I agree with tattoos prepping you up to work for a corporation. Yes

XOXO

I have tattoos, but I don't have any what I might consider dumb ones. No names, no cartoon characters; nothing that, when I'm eighty I'll wonder what it means or why I did it.

I would want to change my tattoo every few days to something new so you know that isn't going to happen.

I like tattoos on others!

I love the Wonder Woman tatt! The gay whales and ice cream are cool AF. Also agree about the corporate pain level. Lol. Really, they're all fun.
Cheers!

I'm afraid I've never liked them.

The very first one gave me a chuckle. I think that's going on next Saturdays jokes.

Wonder Woman is the best!

I've still never really seen a tattoo I would want on me forev—

Nope. Still looking. I’d so love to stick it to my family.

The "true love" one...BAHAHAHAHA

Honestly I thought 'getting tiny needles jammed into your skin' was going to end with 'living with a cat' not corporate meetings...

I have given thought to getting a bi pride tatoo

I like Wonder Woman best.

I had to steal that WW tatoo which is done is the TRADITIONAL AMERICAN style which I learned from many hour of Ink Masters.

I would just stick to a sticker tattoo that can be washed away or removed. It seems so trendy these days that one would be a dinosaur without a tattoo somewhere. Your post is hilarious as usual. I wish to have you wits and humour.

"Adding insult to injury". LOL!

I'm getting my first tattoo tomorrow. 😉

@ Busy Bee Suz -- Way to go! I hope you'll tell us all about it on your blog (with photos too, of course!)

I really love that first one. I got my first tattoo when I was 15 in San Fransisco at a biker tattoo shop. This was long before girls had tats. Have a great evening.

Tattoos used to be only seen on bikers and criminals.
Now they’re everywhere
I love how people can express themselves but I don’t like pain
So I’m a clean skin lol
A rebel of a different colour Id like to think

A tattoo is the one thing that my wife is adamant that I do not get. She married me sans skin art, and wants to keep me the same.

Children, however, have tons of tats (son has a semi-sleeve, daughter has between one and two dozen scattered about). My daughter has two very unusual ones. One is a cicada that is located front side between throat and waist, and the other is the famous soup can, which apparently no-one of her generation gets.

The odds are definitely against Karla...LOL!

Are you getting that Wonder Woman tat Debra?

Onevikinggirl said...

I am becoming more and more certain that I will die the only un-tattooed person, ‘ cause nobody would graffiti the Mona Lisa or put a bumpersticker on a Ferrari. But on others it looks great and most vikings seems to have had them, so I reserve my right to change my mind.

Debra She Who Seeks said...

@ Lady M -- No, I'm not getting any new tats at this time. But she's a beaut, isn't she!

I must say, I never understood the appeal. But I'd tattoo my son's name if I had to get a tattoo.

As someone with tattoos and who was young and got sacked for having them in the 80s - YES! why don't employers think that way? Its far easier though nowadays to get employed and keep the job when you have tattoos and also pink ( or other coloured) hair, mohican hair cuts etc etc. We were punished by the boring oldies in those days just for being young and the thing was we were not even being "different". It was just fashion. A close friend was sacked for the tattoo showing through his white office shirt at work. Quite unbelieveable these days.
Thankfully the world has changed quite a bit in the last 40 years.

I have one largish tattoo on my lower back but every now and again I toy with the idea of getting a new one.

Last time I got an arm tattoo I was lying on my side and my leg started going dead and I had to get up and punch myself in the leg to bring the blood back. Also there was a studio pug called Tuna!

More meme fun, Debra! I love the cat one and the beautiful Wonder Woman one.
