I"m going to set up a veggie stew....LOL!

Those are all great, the typewriter/dancing scene is fantastic.

Every one of these is wonderful. I studied the last one for a few moments trying to understand what was so funny about Oom Yung Doe. But then I got it!

The chair one requires a second look.

The chair, my first real laugh of the day, thanks, I needed that.

...Debra, you scored today!

The typewriter tapdancer in high heels! And the human type bars kicking! Cool.

That first one took me a minute, even after I read it!
I love the Rosa Parks stamp!

They are all kind of eye-benders this morning ... or ... it's just too early to be reading your blog! LOL They are all great!

Only a certain portion of the population would get the Final Frontier one. The old portion. Of which I am one.

I have a couple I can't figure out: the chair? and the martial arts one?

Oh, my...camera angles really do matter, don't they?

I have seen that old film --- cannot remember the title!

🐴🍩🥯🧁 If "Horse & Pastry" was a café near me, I'd be their #1 customer!!
Rosa Parks for the win...again!! 🚌💪

@ Ellen D. -- At first glance, many people assume the chair back is the lady's bum (I know I did!) And the martial arts sign is in the centre of a smashed-in window, so it looks like his kick is what did it.

Hahaha
Brilliant! And I did see the chair....

The horse, though...!

XOXO

That chair one is priceless!

Okay, I need an eye test!

I love a visual pun as much as a verbal one! Thanks for the lols!

Okay those are pretty good. Even though I thought the first one was Kim Kardashian, and the fourth one down out of the sword was Sarah Jessica Parker.

LOL, thanks for the laughs.

oom yung doe? I don't get it and i feel stupid..... that typewriter sketch was great though..... very nice set today

Debra She Who Seeks said...

@ ArcticFox -- Yeah, unfortunately that photo is proving to be kind of obscure in its meaning. The martial arts sign is in the centre of a smashed-in window, so it looks like his kick is what did it.

The Final Frontier space bar on the old typewriter made me LOL! And I didn't get the martial arts one until you explained it, d'oh!

Hi Debra, I found that typewriter dance sequence with Ruby Keeler and Lee Dixon, from the film "Ready, Willing and Able"

@ Parnassus (Jim) -- Hey, thanks for that marvelous link! Ruby Keeler is great. I love her in "42nd Street," one of my all-time faves! She was born in Canada too.

Hard to pick a favorite, but I go with Rosa Parks. LOVE that one.

A great lineup, I stole a couple for my Book of Faces page... everyone desperately needs a Laugh these days.

Love those old movie musical dance numbers. The loonier the better.

Google translate says oom youg doe is Dutch for Uncle Youg Doe.
The typewriter must have been one heck of a project for the stage crew.

How do we know said...

The Final Frontier is my favourite!!
