Well, we can identify with each and every one of these sayings.
Being different from the rest in whatever way is, we feel, becoming more and more difficult as we are constantly manoeuvred into compliance or uniformity. We always felt that what was a wonderful characteristic of the British was their eccentricity but this seems to have evaporated.
Bring back diversity, difference, being out of step or just be weird.
This seems for me specially 🥹 As they say “being yourself is hardest “ only because how you are treated by others afterwards,but it’s most liberating 🥰
