HRH's Halloween Post

Hello, everyone. Her Royal Highness the cat here.

I know SOME of you thought I had a paw in producing last week's post
about witches and their cats but no, that was entirely
my human's LAME EXCUSE for a cat-related post.
Poor dear, she DOES try, so we must all
ENCOURAGE her but really, she is
SUCH a non-creative dim bulb compared to MOI.

My fellow felines, let's all don our SPOOKIEST costumes this year, shall we?

GHOST kitties are MY favourite costume,
but let's all put a LITTLE effort into it, okay?
We don't want our costume to end up looking like
some half-assed NUN'S OUTFIT, now do we?

Of course, we could go the HORROR route . . . .

When designing your WALKING DEAD costume,
just remember -- keep things MESSY!

Here's the MOST HORRIFYING scenario I can think of  (*shudder*) --

FOOLISHLY, humans always UNDERESTIMATE
both our intentions and our powers --

And speaking of internal organs, I hope you all get
some WONDERFUL NEW CAT TOYS for Halloween!

HUGS n PURRZ until next time, dahlings!

Hello Debra, It's so often the case that pets get better toys than people. I want those cat toys for myself, especially that eyeball!

HRH, I read this to Norbert because he has forced himself onto my lap. He loved it and would like to meet you. He thinks he and you will have a lot in common. He doesn’t mind that you are no longer living on earth and you can visit anytime.

thank you, HRH! I was hoping you would chime in for the holidays!

I don't know why but for some reason this made me think of Dwight on The Office putting Angela's cat in the freezer rather than give it meds. LOL Don't ask me- I don't know WHY my brain works the way it does but this was sure a fun post! xo Diana

And, here I thought Scuba was expressing love for me by kneading my chest!

Oh, it must be hard for white cats on Halloween. The black ones get all the attention.

Fantasti-cat post! And how purr-fect that my youngest daughter and I just finished a fun time with some fun cat stories and photo sharing of our black cat Rascal..no longer with us! Oh she was Top Cat for sure...and she made sure that New Dog knew it...

Trick or Treat...meow!

Always a treat (or is it a trick?) to be blessed by your presence HRH. My favorite is the eggs. So funny. Closely followed by the cat going into the cemetery. RUN!!!!!

Cats do indeed create the best blog posts :) But we try, we really do.

Such a winning post, YRH, I knew you'd do a better job than poor, human Debra. I mean, paws down, it's no contest. She does try, though, and she amuses us poor humans...

I showed these to Pierre. He yawned. Was he feigning indifference or was it real? Sometimes I can't tell. He's gone back to sleep.

Be strange but don't be a stranger! We'd love a return visit!

So many choices for a good cat costume, HRH. I'd be honored to see what you decide to wear. Regardless, I hope you scare and score in a big way.

Your human is amazing, HRH, but... compared to you all of us seem diminished. No one can match your creative greatness.

By the way, I was wondering if the Grim Reapurr is from France. The name sounds very French. :-D

Halloween is not the same without a cat. Preferably a black cat.
