DIY Infinity Gauntlet

Who WOULDN'T want the Power of the Universe at their personal beck and call by possessing the Infinity Gauntlet? Well, now YOU TOO can have one! And there's NO NEED to run around the universe collecting all those pesky Infinity Stones -- Do-It-Yourself Infinity Gauntlets are the LATEST RAGE!

You can go the MINIMALIST route --

This next one will cost you less than 5 BUCKS!

How about this model? You're not using that OVEN MITT anyway.

BALLOONS, anyone?

Put your kids' LEGO to good use!

Mmmmm, how about a nice CAKE?
Then you could have the Power of the Universe INSIDE YOU!

Personally, I'm going to TRADE IN
my purple knitted fingerless gloves . . .

. . . for THIS BABY!

Bwahahaha! FEAR ME.

that toilet rubber one is uber classy! The latest trend on catwalks really is putting rubber raincoats over evening gowns... world is in the right that stage of crazy where this would be considered trendy!

I have to admit, I do like the gold one.

I like the runner ones because I can rule the universe, create havoc, and clean my bathroom bowl!

I don't know the movie so I don't know why I would want one, but I do. The last one. The crochet thing.

Then I'd go around making that face the purple dude is making up top.

Thanos. I know it's Thanos. I might not see movies, but I keep up with pop culture. Granted, I don't know the name of any of the bad guys from Harry Potter, but hey... that's for a different blog post.

Thanks. When I see the gauntlet coming at me, I'll know what it is.

I'm sure anyone of those will come in handy during the cold.

That final one is the best. Until I saw it I really wanted the rubber glove infinity gauntlet.

Those gave me a chuckle, even having missed the movie.

Interestingly (to me) this elaborate piece of jewelry was featured in the epic (and long-winded) series called The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan. It was worn by a character named Nynaeve who wielded a lot of power!

Please don't trade in your purple gloves they are your trademark.

We've watched the movie twice, loved it. NOW, what?

I'll go for the rubber glove. It is more me.

Very funny, Debra, even to someone who knows little about the Avengers. I'll take the cake version ~ I'm so craving sweets right now.

Grimace as Thanos is inspired casting.

Don't worry, Debra: we fear you with or without a gauntlet.

Balloon Gauntlets? Thanos would kick my ass.

I don't think I can be trusted with an Infinity Gauntlet. But I am really digging the crochet version :D

I MUST HAVE the last version! My power will be complete!

Fun takes on the glove although I have no idea who this character is!

Haha, that rubber glove must have taken hours to create. ;D

I wonder which one I prefer: the one to keeps me warm or the one to wash dishes.

klahanie said...

Hey Debra,

Ah yes, that photo of rubber gloves brought back some memories of those glitzy days when I washed the dishes in style. Either that, or the rubber gloves reminds me of surgical gloves and Customs and um, never mind, eh.

Lovely jewels of POWER! I should know who that purple McD's creature is...wait...it that Grimace? I think I used to confuse him with the Hamburgler (sort of like saying 'elevator' for 'escalator') when I was a child.

I've always wanted to feel powerful while washing the dishes.

Oh no you are not serious about trading in your purple gloves Debra!
I'll fear you in your purple....LOL.

That's so funny. I just finished watching the movie about 30 minutes ago. I have no words. Actually, I have a lot of words, but none of them are publicly appropriate. I'm just really disappointed.

Anyhoo...have a great day!
