Eggs incoming!

Funny! I live in a rural area. We barter for the eggs that my neighbor's chickens lay.
It works out so well and keeps our tiny rural area connected.

Awe - love that skull and cross bones breakfast. It is creative and it speaks volumes!

Always leave them laughing!
About 10 years ago I started buying eggs from a local farmer, affectionately known as the egg man, paying the prices everyone is now complaining about. He was a nice guy, who took excellent care of his hens, and always had a bad joke to share. Past tense - covid.

My cousin would have LOVED the groaner at the end.

What a "crack up" some of these were. The frying egg gif was even a bit creepy.

Now I want a white cat just so I can Eggify it.

Eggs, eggs everywhere, and not a single yolk to be had!

I always pay extra for pasture raised eggs - worth it, but they certainly have gotten expensive.
Love the lols! Those fancy chickens are living large!

Hello Debra, Just yesterday I was able to buy some eggs--the first I have seen here this year. By the way, they do have preserved claws jazzed up like that and make into brooches.

I was going to mention the white cat and the orange but it seems to have been pointed out several times already.

All good ones!

I have chickens and the price of feed has gone through the roof.
So my eggs are not cheaper. But they’re fresh and organic Also I have chickens. And life is always better with chickens

Nice collection, but I'm getting hungry.

The cat and the orange win, hands down (whatever that means).

Hahahaha
Attila the HEN??
Oh, the punnery.

And the kitty and the orange? I had to look three times.

I only have eggs on weekends. Really.

XOXO

This is so hilarious! Love your humours!

What a hoot! That last one does make me groan. LOL And I hardly if ever eat eggs, so I haven't noticed prices going up for them.

How are we ever supposed to eat fried eggs again?

Bacon, eggs and toast is my go to breakfast. Love these memes.

Let it be known that I did not groan at the Attila the Hen joke. I actually chuckled. Thanks, Debra. This was egg-cellent.

I am not shy. The white cat and the orange spoke to me.
Life is not always easy. We should all eat more quiche.
I always keep an emergency quiche in the freezer, and yesterday turned out to be a minor emergency.
I have caregivers, but i never know what to do with them.
I just cant abide some 20 year old child rummaging around in my space. So i said
Krystal! I know what you can do! Go in to the freezer and pull out that quiche. It will be on the bottom shelf. It is flat,it is round, it looks like a pie.

Yes you found it. Now, turn the oven on and when it is hot put the quiche in. It will take about 45 minutes.
Because i wanted to be nice, i made a stupid joke about how real men dont eat quiche. That is the oldest i have felt, so far. I need another 2 or 3 emergency quiches, just in case.

@ Richard -- Hey, I made a quiche recently too -- cheddar and broccoli, yum yum. And you know, King Charles served quiche at his Coronation Dinner on the weekend as well. So you and I have been dining like Royalty, my friend. Hahahaha!

HAHA!! These are all funny. I must be a millionaire because we are still eating them a few times a week. :)

You had me feeling sorry for the eggs frying or about to be fried, Debra! My tummy hurts from laughing at this post, the Vikings, and the NSFWs. I'll be back to catch up on more of your posts.
