Whoa.
This was a lesson! Blasphemous, huh? I can totally believe that. And from now on, I'll be asking for some 'food weapons' everywhere I go, I swear.

XOXO

Love the fork on the sink, that's me!

May be cutlery will become redundant in the future, so many food products today appear to require finger use only.

this was an excellent posting der Debra :)

i enjoyed the all weird looking forks specially those with complicated handles seemed extraterritorial things to me lol never saw such complex fork here

lol for last meme too ,being from a small village i can understand how tiny moves and things were considered "offensive" to God back then .

blessings!

Religion is just weird. You could use a sharp, pointy knife to eat with and that was ok but a "knife" with two points was sacrilegious. Probably the pope that determined that fact was annoyed that he didn't come up with the idea first!

Curse those artificial hands. That just another example secular privilege.

These are great. I really would love the skeleton set.

I see where you used the blasphemy meme. It goes well with this post. I wonder where you can buy the skeleton silverware. It would be perfect for September and October.

Think of all the sacrilegious people right-wing extremists would have to burn at the stake in modern times. "You invented WHAT?! A spork?! Set him on FIRE".

Love these!

The first one got an "Ouch" from me....I guess we are supposed tot eat with our hands if forks are blasphemous???

Love the Fork Memes! How utterly hilarious and frankly insane religion so often is... How did they eat the spaghetti before forks? With their true hands?

Another great reason to tell the Vatican to fork off!

I am so "Maybe I will". If I looked right this minute I'd bet there was a piece of silverware hanging just like that.

Our dinner forks and our salad forks are subtle and they are mixed up often.

Xavier's School for the Gifted must be having an open-house.

Sacrilegious? Oh dear goddess! Do you suppose the pitchforks they used to pile on the straw when they burned non-believers at the stake were sacrilegious? SG does the “I might make another sandwich...” routine all the time. He, however, leaves the buttery/mayonnaisey knive face-down on the counter.

The last one amazed me, I didn't know people were so opposed to forks when they were first invented, wow!

Hope that your week is going well and you have a nice weekend planned ahead :)

The skeleton set would have me wondering what was in the meal being served.

We have a plastic fork from the Royal Navy. It's also a knife and a spoon.

Well i thank Kali. She is pretty fierce and i don't usually talk with her. It is not my job. I think she is busy these days. What with us being so confused and all that.

I will enjoy using forks much more now that I know their blasphemous history.
