All these groaners and I can’t stop dwelling on “My wife and I’s”! My wife and I’s???

But puss ups and comma sutra, and the craps table dog. I love those. And ignoranus is my new favorite word.

Comma sutra.

Dirty little punctuation.

Love the tundra and scrabble. I have been having a 'discussion' on Facebook with an ignoranus. feel the need to punch something.
Will have to look up kegel.

Liz Hinds said...

Good heavens, I've been doing kegel exercises 0r puss-ups for years.

'Pun my word, these are hilarious!

OMG, love the dog. They're all brilliant but I don't get the Manhatten one!

Debra She Who Seeks said...

@ Polly -- "The Manhattan Project" was the secret code phrase for the development of the atomic bomb in WW2. So "fusion" is a play on fusion cuisine and nuclear fusion.

Tundra Bunny said...

I love your groan and bear it posts -- they're puntastic!

Mike said...

When I use the camel pun it's because I ALREADY HAD IT! 🤪 I did lol at the craps table.
And most of these I haven't seen... WHY?

Debra She Who Seeks said...

@ Deedles and @ Tundra Bunny -- A GROAN for each of you!

These are all great. Have a great day.

Calembours atrocious.

Love all the puns, Debra. But I need to sadly report that Jackie Sue's Yellowdog Granny seems to have been taken down again. Shit

Debra She Who Seeks said...

@ Ozma G -- Thanks for the heads up but I am able to access her blog (thank goodness!) Perhaps there was just a glitch when you tried?

Ozma G said...

Wow, yes I can see her again now. Hope the hiccup was all mine. Thanks and be well

Great collection, thanks I needed that

Polly said...

Ah, thank you Debra.

I thought I'd posted my appreciation of comma sutra. Well now I'm posting it. Not that I have a consistent position on this topic..

My favorite is the polar bears. I wonder if whoever did that thought of the pun first, and then looked for a picture, or the other way around.

I do love Cocoa Puff. That one's a keeper for a dog person.
