If famous composers were cats --
Unbeknownst to me, it turns out that this is an actual piano score! It is called Toc-cat-a in B for Pawiano and was written by Noam Oxman in honour of a cat named Latte! Here is a recording of it --
Thanks to intrepid blogging buddy Jim of Road to Parnassus for researching that meme and letting us know the results! More whimsical animal compositions by Noam Osman are found here.

The first! Oh, and the view inside a violin. Beautiful! Can I live there?
...Debra, once again you Scored!
Hello Debra, How am I going to get any work done if you keep sending me over to Youtube?
Here is the Toc-cat-a in B played out, apparently by the composer (actually kind of fun):

If you look at his other videos, you will see other weirdly written music, including more cats and animals:

The one with the car ... ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฌ
Maybe, it was all inspired by the cat working the keyboard and Mozart was just transcribing the cats creation?
I love the view inside a violin. But think of the noise and vibration!
@ Parnassus (Jim) -- OMG I didn't know this was a real score! Thanks for those marvelous links! I'm going to amend my post accordingly so others can hear it played too. You truly are the King of Researchers, my friend.
That's a fantastic piece! Thank you for that!!!
And the VW is stealable! Happy Sunday!
I really do enjoy your memes. And that Toc-cat-a was just lovely!
How hilarious that was an actual score!!!
That last one has HRH-the Cat written ALLLLLLLL over it!!!!
๐น๐ I listened to Toc-cat-a in B while Hubby was in the room. He asked, "what is that? It sounds like two cats running around on a piano." ๐ฒ๐คฃ What a successful piece of music if my Hubby can "get" it!! ๐ป
I read your post this morning, but didn't have time to comment. Now I find that you've added even more fun!
I enjoyed most the composers/cats similarities ๐
Several good GROANS today.
The car was my favourite.
Really a fun series!
Oh goodness, these are funny.
A few years ago I looked at some sheet music and realized I couldn't read it anymore. That wasn't funny to me but these are! Love the cat music.
Flight of the Bumble Bee made me Laugh Out Loud! The classical cat tune wasn't like nails on a chalkboard, so that was fine too...
Such a noteworthy post!
@ Marie Smith -- Oh, good one -- GROAN!
Oh crikey, that cat music is really marvellous, what an amazing idea! Loved the flight of the bumble bee. Actually loved them all.
Weird Al could be played by Tom Hulce in a biopic.
@ Kirk -- Yes, that would be appropriate!
For some time I like to tie whatever is being discussed into the possibility The Arizona Symphony is working on conducting it - in E-flat.
I’m not sure what influenced this post but I do like the giggles.
The inside of the violin is stunning
Those photos inside a violin! Wow!
Love all of these, the humorous and the thought-provoking.
Poor bumblebees. Although, now that Bumblebee Tuna song is stuck in my head.
