During this year's Winter Solstice celebration at Stonehenge (when pagans are allowed to freely congregate among the Stones because of their right to freedom of religion), a black cat named Moon also showed up and stole the show! His appearance was taken to be a good omen for the coming year.

Moon is the star of the show and makes it all mystical.
I hope Moon is a good omen. We need some good!
...cats are taking over!
That is so cool. I firmly believe that is a sign! I have always felt black cats are actually good luck and a good omen too.
I love it!
Note: I am in Google Hell this morning. Posting and comments will be light until I get this stuff sorted out.
Black cat: a great omen
the Ol'Buzzard
What a handsome cat!
I love the picture of Moon sitting atop Stonehenge. That surely looks like a sign!
A sign of a great year to come.
I absolutely LOVE that!!
Just another sign that cats rule!
He's moving left to right! That's good luck. Right to left not so much.
From me as Indonesian, I have my own personal opinion and perspective, black cats are generally not strongly linked to luck, either good or bad. Most Indonesians see cats regardless of color as normal animals rather than omens. In some local beliefs, black cats may be associated with mystery or the supernatural, but this is not a dominant or widely accepted view. In Islamic tradition, which influences many Indonesians, cats are respected animals and are not considered symbols of bad luck. Because of this, many Indonesians treat black cats kindly and practically, focusing more on behavior and cleanliness than superstition or signs of fortune.
Laughing at the cat!
