Christmas for Movie Geeks

I've always been a movie buff and, of course, that means following the work of favourite directors, whether they're old, new, american or foreign. Now, what if these directors made Christmas movies, each in their own particular directorial style? Enjoy!

That was cute. I'm not familiar with all of the filmmakers they're parodying, but dug the ones whose styles were immediately recognizable. It would have been a fun guessing game if they didn't tell you before hand whose style it was.

I'd like to see a Michael Bay Christmas movie where presents are opened with explosions and decorations literally explode themselves into place and then blow up at the end of the holidays instead of being put away. Oh and the tree is a transformer. And the baubles are his bollocks.

I'd totally watch that movie.

The Tarantino trunk shot. The Scorsese tracking shot. Excellent. Of course, I would absolutely watch the Wes Anderson Christmas movie.

I loved the Charlie Chaplin one. I think my taste in films must be quite basic.

I'm a total movie buff, but the all-male (and probably all-white) director's parade put a damper on my mood.
