If Our Pets Earned Their Keep

Why can't our cats and dogs
bring home a six-figure salary?

Would it kill them to
go to medical school?

It's the least they could do!

HRH, are you listening?

I'd hate to be the boss who had to keep a bunch of cats working at a full-time job.

Rx, one cat to curl up on your lap and sleep the afternoon away. You will feel so much better afterwards.

I wouldn't mind if they brought in FIVE-figure incomes. Dudo, however, would spend every last cent on toys. Moose would spend it on food. The cat in the operating room is perfect.

My dog and two cats sleep all day. But they should maybe start earning their keep.

I'm no expert, but it seems that half the time cats are exclaimed for their adroitness in never knocking down ornaments, and the other half they are blamed for their clumsiness in breaking everything in sight.

I'd just like them to kick in a few coins on the mortgage!

Facebook is filled with cats and dogs who really and actually work in shops and hospitals and even have their little cards hanging around their necks. Actually, my editor, has an office cat, let us call him a feline editor, he is there laying on his desk every time I visit to get some new work and money.

I tell my cat daily that if he wasn't so darned cute and cuddly that he would be out! We overlook the naughty stuff for a good cuddle! I love the Dr Cat with the limes and Tequila prescription!

The little cat costumes with the arms will never stop being funny to me.

Cats are very wise. Some cases of stupid are just incurable. Also, those shiny surgical instruments are sooo hard not to play with!

I giggled at the cat doctor knocking the tools off the table.

LOL, it's not the same as a medical doctor, but I'm pretty sure the cats at the local cat cafe are freelancing as therapists. I don't know for sure though, because I'd need so much benedryl to even go near the front door, that I'd be asleep in 5 minutes.

Thoroughly enjoyed this post, friend Deb. Went back and tried to pick a favourite, but could not decide as all are awesomeness. Much love, c.

ha, ha, very good. I'm not sure how our two could earn their keep. Rufus could be a food taster, Buster could be a life coach on how to live with phobias!!

The cat suggesting tequila: he's a real doctor. Knows his job too.

How did someone get a cat to keep a hat and mask on? incredible.

I think the cat nailed the diagnosis.

Next to laughter, pet dogs and cats can be the best medicine sometimes! And HRH is a real pill...LOL!

Yep, there are definitely a lot of cases of “stupid” going around! Love Dr. Meowadith Grey, but where’s McDreamy Dog when you need him? Doggone it, I just thought of a whole new meaning to Dr. McSteamy.

I don't think I want to visit any of those for expert advice in the near future. Except for Ned of course.

I dream about this - I would be happy if they earned their own pocket money! Or is that 'paw'ket money???

Cats in the Operating Room. Lol.

Pierre calls bs on this post. He knows that his mere presence is a gift.

A group of dogs here are currently being trained to sniff out people who have the virus. What a remarkable sense of smell they must have.

Hahaha. If I had a kitty, I would WANT to stick MD garb on it, but like my face untouched by numerous scratches, thanks very much. :D

I have a comic at work where a dog analyst tells the man on the shrink couch: look my treatment is straightforward. I lick your face until you cheer up.
