Hello Debra, Thank you for your good wishes for the U.S. I will be looking forward the the actual inauguration--it will be a relief to get it over. We need to be getting on with so many more important things--too bad that so much of Biden's time will be required to stitch the U.S. back together.

It felt like we would never get to this point but we did with the help of people of color and I say thank you all for the help we needed to get that disease out of the White House. Now we have to help each other and rebuild this beautiful country and fight COVID the right way.

Thanks! Thoroughly exhausted, I can't believe I made it through ... that I survived ... though sadly 400,000 didn't.

I think I held my breath as I watched it.
I felt like we were all waiting for the "other shoe to drop".
But thank all that is good and holy that it all went well.

Here's hoping for better days ahead!

Not going to lie... I got misty-eyed more than once during the course of the day. LOL, and I may have developed a callus on my foot from all the dancing I did when the previous resident took off for good.
