YULETIDE BABY BOOM!

Remember last December 25th, when my gnomes

Fearsome the Fierce
and
Hengist the Hairy

unexpectedly and miraculously

Wulfbane the Wee?

Well, they're at it again!
Fearsome and Hengist are.
I must say,
surprisingly fertile
for a gay couple.

Except this time, they produced
TWO baby gnomes!

Everyone, say hello to:

Tomte the Tiny

who is apparently a prodigy at
real estate wheeling and dealing
and already has his
own gingerbread place!

And please give
another big welcome to:

Hedley the Half-Pint

who quickly exhibited a
deep affinity with rainbows!

Takes after his Dads, I guess.

Many thanks to the midwives
present at the miracle births:
my sister and Mistress Maddie.

LOVE em, before you know it they will take over the house.

I'm still trying to figure out which one was actually carrying? And here you thought you'd be safe with male gnomes.

And I have that exact same bottle brush tree with the little balls in it.

Now we all know what Fearsome and Hengist have been doing this winter... just like rabbits!

Welcome to the world, Tomte and Hedley -- just watch out for your big brother, Wulfbane, who has been trained by Debra in the art/torture of sibling rivalry, LOL!

@ Mistress Maddie -- I think Fearsome and Hengist spell each other off. And with your love of bottle brush trees, I'd be surprised if you DIDN'T have this one too!

@ Tundra Bunny -- I ASSURE you that I am the World's Best Sibling, the penguin gift wrap notwithstanding.

@ Rawknrobyn -- That is an INSPIRED groaner, you clever wordsmith!

Oh, how I love these. But can you imagine the pain of those births? Unless, like bones, they're more bendy at birth. Ouch.

I’m sure they add to the festive feelings

They are gorgeous! I love them all. I acquired a Nordic Gnome myself this Christmas, I named him Ragnar.

I'm with Marie. It's parthenogenesis for sure.

Soon the world will be overrun by gnomes. Maybe they'll do a better job at running it.

I haven't bought Yule gnomes as of yet. I only have autumn gnomes and Halloween gnomes.

HAHA! SO cute. What a happy and quirky little family.

Yikes! I love all my gnomes equally, but Tomte might move to town and forget his roots.

Tomtes and Nissen and such seem to breed like rabbits despite I never see the lady-types. What gives?

Nothing is impossible here so welcome to newly born haha

Perhaps this summer you might contemplate gnome houses in your yard as in the movie Eurovision Song Contest. Your neighbors could leave offering when they ask for favors.
