I am amazed and grateful every day when anyone acts with kindness: holding a door, helping to find an item in a store, a health care provider or assistant treating me and others with respect and dignity. And I, Cranky Frankie, try to do the same.

You made me cry this morning. There's so much bad stuff in the world, thank you for reminding me of the goodness in the world. I spent most of yesterday taking care of a very sick patient, who is dying, and seems to be falling between the cracks of doctors and their fucking silos. It broke my heart.
I have tried to do nice for others and I have received some "pay it forwards" from others and thank them when I know who they are. You, Debra, are my everyday hero today because you changed the Beautiful Woman commenting issue!! 🤗
Hello Debra, I am sure that many everyday heroes go unsung, but I am always a little suspicious of internet memes. $50 seems awfully cheap for turtles that size, but I have no personal experience here. In Cleveland, before I came to Taiwan, I had a friend who lived in an old neighborhood. He bought some ordinary sized cooking turtles (perhaps 6 or so inches long) but he just kept them as pets. He let them crawl around his apartment (they had a pan of water they could get in and out of) and one of them crawled under the loose carpet and pulled out a $100 bill! So some good deeds are immediately rewarded. --Jim

Good collection of human kindness.

Lovely. Thanks for the reminder. Jayne from Ontario
P.S. I’m enjoying your beautiful women blog, but for some reason I can’t seem to comment.
Let's go be nice to people today.
This is an encouraging post, very seasonal and goodwill filled. Thank you.

Very sweet.
@ Pixie -- You have such an incredibly tough job, so much to cope with. You're an Everyday Hero to your patients for sure.
@ Cleora Borealis -- So glad it helped!
These warmed my heart. Especially the cat and a turtle guy. Nice to know that there are still good people out there.
The Felix story is very heartwarming.
