It's a Wrap, a Rainbow Wrap!

Well, everyone, that's it for another year of --

TRANSLESBIGAYAPALOOZA!

Full of both tragedy and triumph, 2016 Pride will never be forgotten. But as always, we will survive! And if that's not a cue for the Greatest Gay Anthem of defiance against hate and discrimination, I don't know what is. So let's all belt it out together at the top of our lungs, shall we? (First, however, a word of warning: this video contains scenes of disco roller skating.)

Thank you to everyone who read my posts and commented this month. I appreciate all your thoughts, questions, opinions and confidences. I'm sending each and every one of you a big MWAH!

Because as they say --

Another great round this year! It's sad that it has to come to an end but it'll return again next year. Like Game of Thrones :)

The worst thing that can happen with this disco stuff is that I'll get up and dance!

Everything needs more disco roller skating. At the end of the day we really are all homo...sapiens. It's something that I've actually never heard before. I'm going to have to use that.

Gloria Gaynor was awesome! I would have loved being in my early 20s during the 70s but being born in '74 I still got to enjoy some of the roller skating era!

That is one of the slogans of the homosexual supremacist government in Anthony Burgess' novel The Wanton Seed: "It's sapiens to be homo."

I love disco roller skating way more than any straight man has any right to, so what I'm trying to say is a VERY HAPPY TRANSLESBIGAYAPALOOZA to you as well, from the two of us and our beards-for-hire.

We are all homos, indeed!

Now I'm off to listen to every version of the Great Gay Anthem I can find out there. My favorite has to be CAKES. :-D

What a horrible turmoil of a month it's been! I don't even know what to say about it all.

Do they still make roller skates? Always wanted to dance with them! LOL!
Great posts Debra! Thanks for being you!
I was surprised that the Gay pride parade is this weekend in Toronto. Usually, it's in June!

I have wanted to tell you all month about an episode of "Everybody Loves Raymond" but never got around to it. Raymond's mother, Marie, was told that Raymond's brother might be gay. It was funny of course (it is an comedy show after all!) but it was also very sweet and accepting.
Wish everyone was!
