Dog Lovers, This One's For You

A formal complaint of
"excessive feline focus"
has recently been lodged
against She Who Seeks blog.

And the verdict is . . . .

So to fulfill my Community Service sentence,
here is a whole post extolling the praises of

D   O   G   S   ! ! ! ! ! ! !

And forgive me, but I'm about
to commit another crime!

I haven't managed to pop over to visit you for a few weeks and finally get time and your writing about my favurite animals! Hey I love this one. I love dogs though. Melon Collie is brilliant! Also my own two dogs would be great contenders for the bible eaters! They really don't care what they eat and destroyed half my house when pups and still have the odd adventure into destruction. We had to baracade all the electric sockets with boxes and wooden chests to stop them repeatedly eating through the plaster and getting electricuted and its taken until they are over 4 years old before we have the space to live again without all those boxes around the outside of the rooms making the rooms smaller.

That was….a bit underwhelming. But we appreciate the effort.

Too too funny. I had cats for years so getting a Cockapoo was like going from a coffee break on my own time to 'what the hell is he into now'...such is life with Scruffy. lol. xo Diana

We're sorry, Jesus. Some good groaners, too.

Cute post and can I say I don't get the whole cat dog person thing. I have met brilliant members of each species. I have also experience complete a-holes from each species. They are all individuals- cats, dogs and humans.

I had to steal a few back. I'm guessing that the bible eaters had tummy aches. This was all so good.

Yeah, these are great, I will show them to Rufus :-) I love the lemon dogs, and Mount Ruffmore, and the melon collie is priceless.

I have had both cats and dogs and I love them all! And, I love all these memes ... the pug one is especially good ... my Pug was the happiest, smartest little chubby guy ever!

I cracked up reading the first one. XD

Even dogs have their day at She Who Seeks. How very egalitarian of you. We don't mind, there are good dogs out there and there are great dog memes. Love the psychopath one and the little girl with the elderly pug. The puns were hilarious too, if you like that sort of thing... which I definitely do!

Neither of those Bible-eaters looks particularly remorseful. I suppose there is nothing like sinking your teeth into a Good Book.

I am laughing out loud here. So many good ones. (true about the psychopaths.)

This last one?I got nothing.
But Melon Collie? That's well, the best of the worst.
Thanks for evening the score a tad around here. Dogs are worthy, most of 'em, most of the time.

Have a good week, Debra!

Your "Dog Day" memes and puns are all worthy of a treat and an ear scritch... Who's a good girl? You are!

Doggie Puns love it.
I’m neither a dog or cat person. I just love them both so much

You've even got "my" kind of dog in the mix!! The long-haired doxie with the "Death from the ankles down" sign!

"excessive feline focus"
I'm stealing this and funding a Punk Rock band with that name. Yeah, I'll do it.

Also, the Mellon Collie? I'm cackling.

XOXO

I see no reason why one should cater to the inferior canines amongst us. Felines rule.

I love these, thank you. But I'll pass on the yappy little terrier though.

Yes dogs need their share of your blog. The sand and lettuce must be a fake. Good funny fakes. How could you get your dog to sit still that long?

baili said...

Haha the "pee" one made me laugh
You rock dear Debra :)))

What a blast! We need more posts like this one and I'm sure the world would be a far better place. :)

Those Bible-eating dogs look so innocent. They shouldn't spend time in purgatory, much less hell.

And were there any Infinite Sadness to the Mellon Collie to partake in?

(nod to Smashing Pumpkins for inspiration)

Oh so funny, Debra! Melon Collie is a great groaner. We had a number of Dachshunds for pets, including one long-hair cutie that looked exactly like the Dachshund in "Death from the Ankles Down. (So true)." Thanks for the laughs and the memories.

These are a hoot! Where do you find them?

As a more recent dog owner and previous cat owner I see both sides. Love these.

The pug in the stroller always gets me. Yes, that is love. By the time Lucky became an indoor dog he was well past the destructive stage. But he steals stuff if he can reach it and takes it to his carpet area just for fun. All his stuffed toys are intact too.
More dog and cat memes are always welcome.

The one about the baby carrier reminds me of my dog, Kit. He needs a back harness to go for a walk. Boy does my husband work to keep up with him when Kit's front paws are ready to go fast!
