Nice CYA clause at the end, Debra, LOL!

Parking, endless source. I wonder if Romans had chariot jokes and left irritated messages on badly parked chariots?

So many made me smile. The school bus made me ROFLMAO!

I like that Business card one ... I may use it.

Oh my gosh I love the business card idea. And I have tons of business cards. Although I think it would be funnier if I left one of my ex's business cards on the windshield.

Love these!

That one with the clamped wheel is a distinct possibility in this country!

these made me smile and chuckle, and others have already said the first thing that came to my mind.

Great start to the day. The school bus is brilliant!

Love the school bus (those idle threats from "adults" trying to control rambunctious kids)...and the legal disclaimer!

Oh. My. Goddess!
I was laughing hard and then I got to the business card one. I got the hiccups now...

XOXO

Always fun to see the odd/funny things you post here. That's an clever way of removing the boot on your car. Fortunately I've never been booted but good to know.

Genius payback with business cards!

OMG! I've done that last one, for real.

"They tell of a bus that headed for Scranton alone;

It dwindled into the West.

It was later found near a gasoline pump—-moss grown,

Deserted, abandoned, like the Mary Celeste."

Hello Debra, All great ones today, but the bus one perfectly illustrates Ogden Nash's "The Buses Headed for Scranton", quoted above.

The fat guy with the grill--priceless. I could see my uncle, and my ex.

Thank you so much. I really needed to laugh after this morning.
I feel so much better now

A bunch of blank business cards would work just as well methinks.

I couldn't do the business card thing. I'd be hitting parked cars on purpose.

Favorites are the fat man with the grill and the evergreen school bus.

Those were all hilarious and some were downright tempting! Who knew parking could elicit so many lols???
Cheers!

Guillaume said...

All very funny.

Ha - love your legal disclaimer at the end. Just in case I adopt one of your suggestions, it goes belly up, and I claim She Who Seeks made me do it, you've got yourself covered!

Thanks for these, Debra. They are all great but I think the business card idea is the most excellent one.

Some people really do park like assholes.
One of your pics reminded me of this place in Westlock Alberta: https://goo.gl/maps/qkeBmn5o6tu9B8Xw9

Parking for fat guys that like to grill! I know a couple of those guys! All these are funny, but special thanks for that one.

@ DB Stewart -- Thanks for the link -- that photo is very cool!

"Fat guys that like to grill" <--This one elicited a hearty cackle from me. Thanks, Debra. You always bring the best of the best.

I try to carry some things, so I won't be just another boring old man. Today, my caregiver was snooping around, looking for evidence, and he found one of my old books.
ZAKROS the discovery of a lost palace of ancient Crete.
By Nicholas Platon. It is a classic.

What is this! He asked. How to answer?
I have a good relationship with this guy. He is excellent. But there is no way I could answer in a few words.

So I said, a long time ago, before Jesus was born, there were the Greeks, and before them, there were these people, the Minoans. Look at their art! At this point, we digressed into a discussion about Egypt and the Pyramids. We agreed that those pyramids in Egypt are amazing, but Tenochtitlan is not to be compared with anything.
This guy is Mexican, he knows that space aliens did not build that place.
Anyway, back to Zakros and the bull jumpers and that goddess and the Labyrinth and the Minotaur. It was a pleasure to talk with him about this. Just an old guy and a younger guy talking stories.

I've always been tempted to recreate that first photo

Wild abandon is the BEST! It describes my parking.

LL Cool Joe said...

What's the point of having a Wrangler jeep if you don't drive it onto the roof?

Martha said...

HAHAHA! These were great. "Parking with wild abandon" is my favourite. Only you can make an entire post about parking this entertaining.
