ðŸĪĢ It's too much! I cannot pick a favorite! But, I do aspire to perform #1 on the To-Do list. I just don't know what would work best: eat the "mayo" calmly or shovel it in while slurping and snorting? I suppose I'll need to read each audience carefully for the best approach! ðŸĪŠ

I think you started something because that "To Do List" gave me some really good ideas.

Philosophy with a side of humor! I like it!

Lol the one about the philosopher's dream.

They made me laugh. My brother teaches philosophy. It's easier to find a job than teaching literature.

Those first couple were pretty funny with the cats and dogs! Lmao!!!!

Plato and play dough!! I was in my first recorder class, brought a soprano recorder as advised in the brochure. One lady brought a tape recorder. She said she was expecting to learn about using it better, not about music. She accepted the loan of a (musical instrument) recorder, and adapted quite happily.

Playdo lol. All very funny

I was smiling through the whole thing.
And then I got to the Play dough. I snorted. Literally.

XOXO

An acquaintance of mine would get terribly airsick and took a good del of grief over it. So one day he poured a can of creamed corn into an airsick bag, walked into the hanger eating it with a spoon. Revenge was sweet.

@ Boud -- Hahahahaha! Yes, the name "recorder" can throw some people for a loop, especially in our modern age!

The society which scorns excellence in plumbing as a humble activity and tolerates shoddiness in philosophy because it is an exalted activity will have neither good plumbing nor good philosophy: neither its pipes nor its theories will hold water. John W. Gardner

Those were excellent. I love Philosophy. I just wish I hadn't lost my mind so I could remember it.

Pretty funny. Loved the cats and dogs.

Pretty funny stuff. Even Descartes would laugh.

The philosopher dream is so funny.

Jamie Ghione said...

Lots of funny stuff here.

Wasn't it the philosopher Diogenes who said, "I pissed on the guy who called me a dog. Why was he so surprised?" I say, philosophy is fun.

Debra She Who Seeks said...

@ DB Stewart -- Hahahahaha, your comment made me think of Monty Python's "Philosopbers Song," speaking of philosophers behaving badly.

WHY did you post this? 😆

A cat asking do I even matter will never happen. They know their own importance. Loved all the memes.

Love,

Yeah, I've got an oceanography degree like that. And I'm sure dogs spend a lot of time philosophising.
