I would be too terrified to get a reading from some of those decks Lol

I love all of these! Many... decades ago, a Wiccan coworker of mine gifted me a beautiful Hanson-Roberts Tarot deck in a luxurious blue silk pouch. I would bring them out every now and then, but I have not done a reading in years! You know... today is a good day.

But... do you have the "Lewis Black Magic 8 Ball"?

"Un-be-fucking-leivable!"

...no justice, no peace, amen sister.

That first one made laugh! And I liked the ones with Kermit and with the cat lady.

These cards are Priceless, LOL, and if you ever run across a real set like this, let me know.

I'm afraid of what Tarot might say to me!

I like The Kermit. He rocks, that little froggy.

Went out for Chinese last night and my fortune cookie was empty. I’m illiterate at fortune telling. Does that mean anything?

I have tarot cards that my grandma gave me but I've never been good at giving readings.

Leanna said...

My favs are The Coffee and the Ace of Wines. I wondered what the rest of the Cat card were? Inquiring minds, ya know.

Debra She Who Seeks said...

@ Frank -- I would interpret it to mean that the Universe is inviting you to write your own destiny -- the future is unwritten and you hold the pen! So it's a sign of good luck and limitless potential. Go for your heart's desire!

Maybe it's time for me to buy some cards. They are probably more accurate than what our government leaders are telling us right now.

Tarot card gives that sense of mystery too

Love The Moose and The Kermit cards... and if the universe takes the time to spell out "NO", take it as sound advice, LOL!

More good reading.

Codex: You can read them? Would you accept a challenge?

Debra She Who Seeks said...

@ Codex -- Yes, I do read tarot and I might accept a challenge, depending on what it is.

Anonymous said...

Codex: A remote reading? I'll explain why afterwards

Debra She Who Seeks said...

@ Codex -- Yes, I can do a remote reading for you, although I caution you that they are not as accurate as a personal reading where the querent shuffles the cards themselves. I would need to know your email address and the issue which you want the reading to explore. Please leave me another comment with that information -- I moderate my comments, as you know, and I will not publish it, but thereafter we can communicate privately via email.

I have a friend who loves tarot cards. We bought her one deck in Montreal, apparently one cannot buy them for themselves, they have to receive tarot cards as a present. I also bought her a bag with tarot cards on.

Codex: Thank you. I'd prefer to email directly. It's not on your site?
A reading without specific questions is not possible?

Debra She Who Seeks said...

@ Codex -- Oh yes, a tarot reading without a specific question is possible. The issue would then be a general open-ended one, such as: "what should I be aware of in my life within the next month or so?"

No, my email address is not public. That's why it's not on my blog or my profile. That's for my safety and security while blogging on a public platform. If we are to correspond privately, you need to leave me a comment (which I will not publish) with your email address and then I will contact you.

Twenty five years ago, a friend read my fortune in the Tarot cards. It was so bang on it scared the shit out of me. Not talking general stuff but very specific

Codex: Same. I'll figure something out.

@ Codex -- Then I leave it in your hands.
