This box was a bitch to reassemble, by the way.
If I'd been smart, I would have taken
the photos in reverse order.
Incidentally, I bought candy canes for
the first time in years because I made some
white chocolate candy cane bark
for Christmas.

In my weird brain, I reconstructed the box, and thought what would go in there? I don't think I have ever seen pleasure sticks sold by the dozen.
I knew it looked familiar but it's been so many years since I've bought candy canes I would have never guessed.
I never would have guessed candy canes OR dild.... pleasure devices.
Would you believe I was sitting here eating a candy cane out of a box just like that and couldn't figure it out? Yeah, I wouldn't believe it either.

I think you should do these again. It's fun to try and guess what it is. Apparently Lurker and I shop the same emporiums. Jokes aside I buy candy canes so I recognized pretty quick.

Ya know, I haven't bought candy canes in too many years to mention and I've never purchased them in bulk so I would've never had guessed right. I always bought the really big ones and would poke a hole in a lemon and stick it in there before sucking. Yummy. I was a kid, so don't judge me!

@ e -- Yes, I did a post on candy canes last Christmas but I hasten to add that I did NOT personally taste test them all! Too much sugar even for me!

@ Magaly Guerrero -- Oh, the air was blue, believe me. And then, once the box was reassembled, I had to fish the remaining candy canes out of the garbage so they could model for a photo shoot in the box.
@ Liz Hinds -- The bark recipe calls for 8 candy canes. The box holds 16. I didn't want to make 2 batches of the bark or eat those candy canes -- too much sugar. So he remaining 8 went in the garbage but I had to fish them out so they could model in the photo shoot of the box.
