Great collection,

Of course God is a woman! I knew it!

These are wonderful! And, yes, we've all been there. Le sigh.

I've always thought if God existed She is a woman and now I know why.

You post the best memes ... God=woman=religion ... OMG ... so true!

Mike said...

"That's all religion is. It's mansplaining."
Well, let me explain why that's true! 😂

Hahahaha
The Master on mansplaining? So, SO good.
Did you know that someone told me once that I should smile more? Another fucking man told me that. Apparently because I'm usually in a good mood, I have to be in a good mood all the time.

XOXO

Oh, I don't know...I spent the majority of my public service career being womansplained on a thrice daily basis. Which as a matter of record, makes logical sense, since 85% of my co-workers were female.

Did me no harm.

We had the displeasure of visiting with an asshole recently. We weren't even totally polite as we extricated ourselves. As we left, SG said: Was HE just mansplaining? I said: Yep. I'd like to return my “Man Card.”

I don’t know. If god was a woman, men would be so much more user friendly

In any corporate environment, there is always mansplaining. It is a sad part of reality.

Lol excellent!

Wunnerful, wunnerful, wunnerful. Religion began as mansplaining.

The last one, so true!

I'm afraid I need some womanexplaining, or anygenderexplaining, about that second image from the top. Why does it say "colorized"? Both pictures are from two 1970s Disney features (The Aristocats and Robin Hood) that were in color to begin with.

Incidentally, the cat on the left was voiced by Eva Gabor. You should hear the mansplaining that she (and everyone else in Hooterville, male or female) got on a regular basis from Eddie Albert on Green Acres, usually accompanied by a flute playing "Yankee Doodle Dandy".

Oh these are good!
I pride myself in explaining diagnosis/options, and how medicines work. I thought this good until I heard someone say I was the medical mansplainer of my clinic. Oh oh.

@ Kirk -- That particular meme came from Tumblr and they're a bunch of weirdos over there, LOL! The title is meant to be an ironic parody of titles for art installations. At least that's MY take on it!

These are glorious! I love the expression on the faces of the kitties. And the ones about religion, the Christian bible, and why the Christian god is a woman had me rolling!

I can't remember who said but there's a quote about why it's hard to be a woman because we have to deal with men and it's true. It's a bit ridiculous how some men treat women as if they have no mind but it's the reality.

Have a lovely day.

Haha. Thanks for the reminder.

God can't be a woman: no woman can be THAT evil. Except Marion Zimmer Bradley. Who saw God as a woman, come to think of it.

When a man tells me something he thinks is novel, but really is something I've actually just told him, then I often say: I just said that out of my mouth right now.(Usually paired with, ahem, a smile just in case someone gets his fee-fees hurt.)

Wow - I always knew there was a reason the bible sounds like a lot of hot air to me.

I was thinking about our Patrick, and wondering if i should wear green.
Of course i will.
It is not easy being green.
Roger Casement got hanged for it.

Is it just me? Am i last the survivor? Do i have to explain mansplaining again? It really is too headache.
I never trust them, and the women are just as bad. Would you like to be like these people? Just asking.

Today is international boyfriend day. Thank you very much. I love my boyfriends. They are brave and strong. They help granny to cross the street.
They did not ask for this.
I was just thinking.

Adam said...

I feel like mansplanning should be punishable with pegging

But honestly, that would encourage me to be bad. But it sure would fuck up the pride of straight men

These are great. Both funny and thought provoking. Well maybe a bit sad that we are so slow to advance.

I can't decide if I like the Disney character one or the one about a goddess going on dates with all those prophets the best :D

Love the Jane Austen and wolverine claws. Sometimes it's only a bag of poo but that in the face should deter I think. (Dog poo by the way!!)

Debra She Who Seeks said...

@ Liz Hinds -- Thanks for the clarification, LOL!

These are hilarious! The one with the university says it all! And the one about carrying keys laced through our fingers like Wolverine's since we were kids is so true!
